By Thomas Zuck FOR THE TRIBUNE-REVIEW Monday, July 4, 2005 The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is one of the best vintage events in the country. It is unique because it is the only one that runs on public streets, and the race has grown since the early 1980s to include car shows all over Allegheny County. The event is completely staffed by volunteers and has donated more than $1.75 million to the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Valley School since 1983. The 2005 version of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix will start Friday with a test and tune session at BeaveRun Motorsports Complex in Big Beaver Borough. There will also be vintage races from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at BeaveRun.
