Revving up for classic car show Published on 13/07/2005 classic cars THE 17th Cumbria Classic Car Show, which is being run by Wigton Motor Club, will feature a varied line-up of attractions at Dalemain, near Penrith, on the weekend of August 21-22. H & H King will hold its annual classic car and memorabilia auction during the show, when tractors and all types of motoring-related items up for grabs. And for motor sport fans, M Sport will bring along a Ford Focus rally car simulator so members of the public can test their skills over World Rally Championship stages. Another new feature is orienteering and archery, while there will also be action on the hillside from the North Lakes 4x4 Club and the Northern Sporting Trials Club. The arena will host autotests as well as parades of cars. Motor bikes will again be able to take part in a 30-mile tour during the morning, There will also be a large autojumble and trade area, with a marquee from the West Lakes Craftsmen.
