The imports took a backseat over the weekend and made way for the forefathers of the auto enthusiast industry at the 2nd Annual Classic Car Show, sponsored by Newstalk K57, the Acanta Mall and the Rock. Although the weather prevented some pre-registered owners from taking out their hidden treasures, enough classic owners showed up to display their rides and make the event a success. "The 10 cars we had still made for a pretty nice show," says Ron Diaz of K-57, who organized the event. "It drew a crowd that pretty much stayed throughout the day." Visitors got to see cars that rarely see the light of day, such as Erwin Tudela's 1932 Ford Roadster, Jose Cruz's 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, Alan Sablan's gorgeous gray 1965 Chevy Corvette and Eileen Benavente-Blas' 1952 Jaguar Roadster.
