By Steve Lyon Editor Hot August Nights is over for another year, and none too soon. Many a retina has been seared from staring at the blinding chrome of a thousand classic cars. Nevadans are big on their car shows. I know a few people in Fallon who have poured many hours, not to mention the entire contents of their wallets, into a vintage rod. They buff the paint until they get tennis elbow on the night before a show and shine. Every summer they travel from Winnemucca to Ely with their classic car in tow. Once there they pull out the lawn chairs and sit a spell. There's instant camaraderie among guys when it comes to car talk.
